The 5 AM Club

It has been officially over one month of consistently waking up at 5 am, followed by a morning protocol that sets me up for success. If you're wondering why I'm doing this, I've written a blog post on my 3 Biggest Reasons to Wake up at 5am which I invite you to read.

Here is a picture I took on my sunrise walk with my husband. I send it to you, since you're starting this life changing journey of waking up at 5am. You get to see things like this! Don't miss the sunrise.

Let me briefly share my morning ritual, which is based off the teaching of Robin Sharma, author of The Leader Who Had No Title and The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari and then explain how it's been changing my life.

3 Best Reasons to Get up at 5AM, and More Insights on Building a Great Morning Ritual

Dear Bed - it's not you, it's me. You are comfy, cozy, and available any time. You are extra warm, and as the weather turns colder leading to crisp mornings, that toasty warmness means a lot to me. But it's just not working anymore. You, hands down, were the gateway drug to mediocrity that has nearly destroyed all my new years resolutions.

Trunk Club and Le Tote for Larger Sizes

Hi loves! I have personally been loving Le Tote, (see my post on that here: LeTote Review) but if you're looking for an option for sizes 10+, I think you need to know a few services my mom and I discovered a few months ago! I want you to know that I make a small commission off the link that powers my blog cause IF you decide to get it.

Gwynnie Bee

The first is called Gwynnie Bee, and it is a great answer for women who are looking to expand their fashion/business wardrobe quickly, but don't necessarily have the cash to buy it all at once! It's actually a rental service so you're allowed to wear anything you want from the box as much as you want, which is really nice. LeTote costs around $50 up front, but Gwynnie Bee is only $10 to try, so now's the time to check it out! No strings attached, don't you love it? Here is my Mom's complete review of Gwynnie Bee! Dia&Co

The second service is Dia & Co which just came on the scene. It's not a rental service, it's much more like Trunk Club, but the prices are so much better than even Gwynnie Bee. So, you pay a $20 styling fee and an actual stylist looks at your style survey plus anything else you sent them (like your Pinterest page) to make you a custom box of items in your price range. Allelujiah! You keep what you like and that styling fee goes toward anything you keep, which is kindof nice.

True and Co for Larger Sizes

We've all been seeing amazing ads for True and Co bra company and loving their concept. I'm a huge True and Co fan myself and have done a couple reviews with promo codes. However, they don't have a size range that fits all sizes.

But now, for more endowed ladies, there really are some great options out there!

Rent the Runway Unlimited Promo Code

It was a good day - all forces seemed to converge to make my closet totally runway worthy. I found an upscale clothing rental service that sends you 3 items in a box and lets you swap them out over and over - I am on the waiting list and just can't wait to try it!

3 Best Reasons to Get the Fab Fit Fun Box

I cancelled my Birchbox subscription this month after receiving too many pitifully small product samples, and even a few repeated products. I just remember saying to myself, "I could walk around the cosmetics section of my local Macy's and get better samples than this!"

So, I found Fab Fit Fun through a Facebook ad, and although significantly more expensive, I think this could be the answer to the lame-jane smallies issue that had me fed up with Birchbox. Instead of samples, Fab Fit Fun sends big, beautiful full size items with a value of over $200, for less than half the price- sounds pretty luxe to me.

True and Co Review and Promo Codes

Up to $40 off coupon codes! True&Co made me a big promise when I went to their site... to match me with the perfect bra for free! They did it, and I do so many of these box things I'm about to send you on a promo-code spree for the best possible savings.

Le Tote review
My home-run box: I LOVED everything here from LeTote!
If you're just joining the work force or getting back into an office job, it can be a total shock turning over a tag and seeing the high price for simple pieces. I was very discouraged coming out of college only to find I couldn't really afford the clothes that would help me look the part in my first full-time position.

Cheaper Alternatives to Trunk Club

Updated for 2020! Trunk Club is an excellent free "try before you buy" service but it's supper pricey, and less expensive alternatives are out there right now- no lines, no waiting. Here are the best three based on my personal experience!
